Can we blamed for being atheists?

Question: Do you think we genuinely know God exists, but go against him for some reason, are we dismissive or too blind to see 'god'
Do you think it's fair to give us eternal consequences to our beliefs given the knowledge we currently have.

Answers: Yes and yes but it's not really your atheism that's the issue. Simply believing that God exists wouldn't save you. It's necessary but not sufficient. The issue is that you, like everyone else, are a sinner, alienated from God. We are all guilty of cosmic treason in believing lies about God and not trusting him. We're born this way and make ourselves worse as we go. There is no hope for us apart from the cross.

"For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities - His eternal power and divine nature - have been clearly seen, being revealed through what has been made, so that all men are without excuse." Romans 1:20.
I believe that God reveals Himself in different ways and on different levels to all people, because He ultimately desires that "no man should perish, but that all should come to repentance." (2 Peter 3:9)
I don't think that God, being perfectly just, would create people, never let them be exposed to Him or understand Him, and then expect them to know and love Him.
So to answer your question, I'd go with the first option, that you go against Him for some reason.
